While I’ve a lot to talk about the crafts and crew of this film, I strongly wanto begin with the title design made by Shali Hussain for this film. You find me crazy, right? No issues! In fact, every Sreekanth’s film is known for it’s title design (if you remind ‘yadane vadili vellipomakey’ title design on a crushed white paper texture. His design choice are known for their simplicity.
It crossed ten-lakh mark in only 2 months of time and now, you can imagine the beauty of this work. Ah!! Now that I used the word ‘beauty’, I must talk about Mrudula, the lead-actress of this film. She did an amazing work, playing her role. You find her the cutest in the introduction scene when she lifts her head up and answers ‘Mayabazar’ as her favorite movie. Siddu Diwakar did a good job, maintaining the reserved nature all through out the film. He looks hot with that beard and hairstyle of his. These guys reminded me of Surya-Bhumika pair from nuvvu nenu prema movie. Oh yeah, I love the lady who played the heroine’s sister role.
Short films with a big crew are rare to be found these days. This short film has so many actors in it, which brings a colorful feeling in every frame. There is also a lot of subtle-comedy in this film. SaiDev Pilla and others made it really fun to watch. I love the dialogue ‘e dieting lu ayanni mana valla kaadu raa…edo sudden ga ye typhoid o jaundice o malaria o ochi weak ipovali gani gram kuda taggmu’ LOL .. awesome writing guys!!
Suman’s music for this film is one of my all time favorites. His music is simple and straight- forward, sounding like a flower falling in water. It makes no noise, creates no ripples, yet carries a feel that could be mood-setting for all the peace-loving minds out there. Not a single flaw I could find in Sashank-Soorada’s cinematography. Over all, this is a film where everyone gave their best into and it should find no problem finding some space in your saved-playlist.
Positives
Music
Actress costumes
Cast acting
Dialogues
Hero-characterization
Negatives
Climax. There are not many scenes of hero and heroine in love, which audience expect after the great chemistry shown in the first 15 minutes of film.
While I’ve noticed a few scenes where I thought it could start to get boring, for most of the times, director amazed me with timely fun. Last but not the least, credit goes to Vyas Akondi, the producer, who believes in such scripts and help the team take them to sets. Keep going guys. We love you. Keep amazing us with your works.
